Guidelines/Principles Agency St.Gallen-Bodensee Tourims (SGBT)

  1. General
    1. The agency SGBT sees itself as the tourist competence centre of the destination St.Gallen-Lake Constance.
    2. The general aim of the agency is to effectively deal with the needs and demands of the tourists.
    3. The activities of the agency at the levels of city, destination and region create synergies that are actively targeted and perceived.

  1. Guest, Customer, Partner, Member, Director, Contractor
    1. We offer optimum services/products for our target groups. Before all else come the needs of the guests, event organisers, travel agents, media and inhabitants.
    2. In order to provide a suitable service chain, it is important to strive for the cooperation of the service providers, partners and members.
    3. The orders of our ruling bodies are carried out to the best of our abilities.

  1. Employees
      • We want employees to be given responsible and satisfying work, suited to their skills.
      • We expect employees to demonstrate social and technical competence, customer orientation (guests, media, partners, members), team skills, willingness to learn, joy in their position, flexibility and identification with the tasks of the agency.
      • Our employees are prepared to go beyond their own task areas to fulfil the general aims of the agency within the team.
      • We wish to enhance the knowledge and abilities of our employees using suitable measures and support further education courses within the framework of the financial options.
